That was an icebreaker I asked at the beginning of what would become a lovely first conversation between a new friend and me. I’m pretty sure the question helped us jump past the small talk.

What were my words?

Husband, Son, & Grower. The first two are pretty obvious. I liked the word “grower” because it says that I am (was) in pursuit of personal growth and and driven to help others grow (as a teacher and a friend).
