What can the garden teach Us about teaching and practicing design?

Sow many seeds.

Ideally, during their preferred temperature or season.

Start some from the safety of the inside.

They need good compost or soil and light.

Others thrive, beginning outside in the elements.

They’ll grow anywhere.

Tend to the garden after winds and storms.

Water it when there’s no rain.

Address plants that steal nutrients and sunlight.

Fertilize or add compost to give strength.

Walk amongst the plants and give them care and attention.

Wait and see what happens.

Look for the fruit, which only the plants can produce.

Leave the roots behind for the next season’s batch.

Cover the soil, the wealth of your garden.

If, after a while, nothing grows, sow many seeds.
